MYO (Maronite Youth Organization)

The MYO is the newest addition to St. Joseph's several organizations. It is the church's youth/spiritual and fun group. Its mission statement is to preserve the Maronite heritage through the youth, and to be united in helping the church with its fundraising activities.

The group hosts the post-Mass social hour by serving refreshments, they help with community activities, and organize the annual Christmas performances that are put on by the catechism classes.

Though the organization is only a year old (founded in 2001) it has accomplished a great deal. All of its members agree that it's not only a fun group to be involved with, but a spiritual one as well.

The MYO has helped to make special Masses even more meaningful to the participants.
